The Art of Bringing People Together: Passion, Community, and Meaningful Work


At the heart of everything I do lies a deep passion for food and the stories it tells. Whether through the Cibo & Vino Cookbook Club, Slow Food events, or intimate pop-up dinners, my work is driven by the belief that food has the power to connect, inspire, and nurture both individuals and communities.

Community is the foundation of my work. Cooking and dining together create a shared experience that goes beyond the plate. The magic of a meal isn’t just in the ingredients—it’s in the conversations, the traditions being passed down, and the new friendships being formed around the table. Every event I organise is an opportunity to build and strengthen these connections, bringing people together over thoughtfully prepared dishes that celebrate seasonal and sustainable ingredients.

Meaningful work, to me, is about more than just serving a meal. It’s about creating moments of joy, discovery, and reflection. It’s about honouring the farmers, artisans, and producers who dedicate themselves to their craft. It’s about fostering a deeper appreciation for the food we eat and the impact our choices have on the world around us. Each event is an invitation to slow down, to savour, and to engage with food in a way that is both mindful and enriching.

Growth is a continuous journey, both personally and professionally. With every event, I refine my craft, explore new flavours, and learn from the incredible people who join me around the table. My approach to food is ever-evolving, shaped by experiences, collaborations, and the desire to push boundaries while staying rooted in tradition.

Creativity is at the core of my work. From designing menus inspired by beloved cookbooks to crafting immersive dining experiences, I thrive on finding new ways to tell stories through food. Cooking is an art form, one that allows for endless exploration and expression. And just like a perfectly soft-boiled egg — with its delicate balance of texture and taste — great food experiences require care, intuition, and a touch of magic.

As I continue on this journey, my hope is to keep building a space where food is more than nourishment — it’s a catalyst for connection, learning, and joy. And I invite you to join me around the table, where every meal is an opportunity to share, celebrate, and grow together.
