Food, Passion, and Purpose

Good food is a basic right. I truly believe that everyone deserves access to food that is not only delicious but also produced with care for people and the planet. This is why Slow Food principles—good, clean, and fair—are at the heart of everything I do 🫶🏽

Cooking, for me, is more than preparing a meal—it’s about sharing knowledge, sparking curiosity, and deepening our connection to the food on our plates. Through Cibo & Vino, I create opportunities for people to experience food beyond taste, whether through my pop-up dinners or meaningful conversations about ingredients, techniques, and traditions. Gathering around a table is a powerful act, and I love fostering spaces where stories are told, ideas exchanged, and inspiration flourishes.

Hospitality has always been second nature to me. I find joy in sourcing exceptional ingredients, experimenting with flavours, and bringing people together over thoughtfully prepared dishes. Food has an incredible way of building connections—not just between ingredients on a plate, but between people, cultures, and memories.

This week, I worked with these stunning organic coral lentils, transforming them into a vibrant dish featuring homemade walnut flour, pomegranate syrup, fresh pomegranate seeds, and chopped parsley, all served over fragrant organic long-corn rice. A dish that is simple, nourishing, and full of depth—just the way I love to cook.

Let’s continue to celebrate food that is good for us and good for our planet 🌎
